Archives Photographs
A curated collection of more than 21,000 images, both original and digital, is available for researchers to peruse in the Research Library.
Our in-house database includes more than 21,000 high-resolution scanned images by local photographers, both amateur and professional. The collection includes images we have in our collection and images loaned to us by the Madison-Jefferson County Public Library, Historic Madison Inc., and the public.
Digital copies and/prints are available for purchase through the Research Library. The cost per image, if for personal use, is $7.50 for members and $10 for nonmembers. The cost of these images for commercial use is $20 for members, $30 for nonmembers.
Photocopies of images are $1 each for nonmembers, free for members.
