In 1958 Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Shirley MacLaine, Martha Hyer, Arthur Kennedy and director Vincent Minnelli came to Madison to film “Some Came Running”, a movie featuring a “typical” small town in the middle west. Many local Madison area people participated as extras. Author David L. Taylor has captured the story of the making of the film in words and pictures.
