Train Station Museum Train Station Museum
Step back into 1895, when the most popular mode of transportation was by rail. The museum, formerly a passenger station for the Pennsylvania Railroad, was built that year.
Inside, learn the history of the station, as well as the history of the Madison-Indianapolis rail line, the first completed railroad in the state of Indiana, dating back to the 1830s.

with it’s iconic cupola with stained-glass windows. Passengers would have boarded
the train from the double doors at right on their way to stops in Dupont and other towns en route to Indianapolis and make connections to other destinations.
